Dove Ellis, is a fresh and explosive live artist from Ireland, based in Manchester. Inspired by Pop, Alternative and RnB geniuses, like Steve Lacy, Dijon, Prince and Frank Ocean, Dove crafts a mix of layered story-telling and engaging production. Born in Ireland, Dove picked up the piano, guitar, bass and drums from a young age. As a teenager he built a studio in his attic where he learned to produce his music. He moved to the UK age 18 to pursue his career, and still produces and plays every instrument on his songs. Dove's first year in the UK has been amazing. With his electrifying live performances, he has played sold out shows in London, Manchester and back home in Ireland. He has sung in Manchester AO Arena, and got national radio play in Ireland. Dove and his band were proud to raise almost £1500 for War Child UK with their online live show in February. He dropped a demo on Soundcloud, within a week receiving over 2000 plays. With summer festival slots and a debut string of singles on the horizon, Dove looks ready to make his mark on the industry.
